Assiniboine Lights and Landscapes services all parts of Calgary, here are some great landscapes we built this summer in the inner city.
Starting off, here is a beautiful bit of paving stone we installed on an amazing estate home in Varisty. We removed and rebuilt the driveway in roman euro pavers, which continued as a pathway down the side of the house and then open up into a large raised patio in the backyard… Perfect for entertaining!
This is another paving stone patio we built in Varsity providing a front yard outdoor space, allowing you to either hide from or chase the sun… Notice how the mow brick border around the large spruce just cleans up the space and provides a definitive line between grass and tree well.
Here is a large exposed aggregate patio we installed on Crescent Rd in the NW, pouring cement and getting compaction to ‘City’ standards is a little more complicated than pouring a simple driveway…
This Rutland Park patio really cleans up this back yard allowing for a nice dining area and great access to their very healthy garden!
Here is a large backyard patio turning unwanted grass into a large functional outdoor room with a lot of privacy and protection from the elements
This large patio area provides a great out door bbq area and provides abundant access between the house, gates and garage… Notice the complementary aspects of the brushed sidewalk and the paving stone patio.
Here is a large project we built in Mt. Royal this summer… Foothill Renovations did an absolutely amazing job of completely renovating this home and we were able to help a bit by rebuilding the landscape. Notice all the tiered retaining walls, and one of the largest set of poured residential steps we’ve ever seen in Calgary.
